Hi
All,
To be able to accept the Grant funds that were Awarded to
the Hell's Kitchen Distribution Group of Upper Meadows Farm
CSA we needed to have bylaws in addition to a bank account,
an employee id number and a registered business name. This
of course was not included in the application information
so we are only scrambling around to get this done now while
our grant check is waiting.
For the HK members, please read the following, it is critical!
If you have not yet voted on the CSA By Laws, please do so
right away. The need to open an account so we may deposit
our grant and use it is now urgent.
Please also read the distribution updates I e-mail to members,
whether or not you are picking up on the listed date. I include
general, as well as date-specific information related to the
distribution. As this is generally related to "housekeeping"
functions, I do not put it in the newsletter, but it is very
important for members. This format allows me to inform all
members, without repeating the information in individual e-mail
to each member. Your review of the distribution updates will
provide you with essential information and "late breaking
news" while assisting me to streamline the time and labor
of distribution coordinator tasks which affect everyone.
Thanks.

Also, Jimi Sweet, one of our HK members is preparing an interactive
page for volunteering so that members can go on line to reserve
their volunteer opportunity. I'll make a presentation and
we'll be working out any bugs as we progress but this format
should greatly facilitate your participation in Upper Meadows
Farm CSA through your volunteer commitment!
Thanks Jimi!
