It
is always illuminating to look at something familiar
through the eyes of a person for who this thing is new.
This week as I have written we are hosting a group of
students from Barringer High School in Newark NJ. You
can just imagine what kind of impact it has on

to be experiencing some things for the first time. Liz Jackson,
a friend and fellow member of the Sussex County Board of Agriculture
is a NJ Fish and Wildlife Division employee. Liz came out
to the farm and gave a nice tour along one of our trails,
showing everyone new ways to look for wildlife. Tracking was
one way as was redefining what are the impacts and evidence
of wildlife and how to consider these in urban or rural contexts.
As
with the other pages I'm short on time this week and will
tell you more in the future.
